14. How would you determine the weight of 50 ml of water?

Well, you cannot just pour water on a scale, it must be contained. You first weigh the container (weigh boat) and then "tare" it out (means that the scale will reset itself to 0 weight, pour the 50 ml of water into the container and reweigh. The weight will just represent the water and not the container plus the water.
