in celebration of
NATIONAL CHEMISTRY WEEK

Sunday, November 2, 11am-3pm, Balboa Park, Casa del Prado

ANNOUNCING CHEMEXPO 2008
The San Diego Section of the American Chemical Society (ACS)
will celebrate National Chemistry Week (NCW) by holding
CHEMEXPO in the Casa del Prado Plaza in Balboa Park, on
Sunday, November 2. The hours are 11 AM till 3 PM. About 1500
middle and high school students, plus parents and teachers, will participate.

CHEMEXPO features company and organization exhibit tables,
demonstrations by local college chemistry clubs, 'the extra creditform', and the ever-popular raffle.

Create your ideas of taking ordinary things that might be use to teach science or use in a laboratory that someone with a disability would find challenging to use, and convert that thing into something more accessible.  The entry with a clever and relatively inexpensive idea for accessibility will win $50!
