ONCAMPUS STUDENTS USING WEBCT:

 

First Create a WebCT account.  After you have created a WebCT account you can add the course(s) you are registered for by following steps 1-8 below.       IMPORTANT: Use the following login

 

Type your WebCT ID = 7-digit College Student Identification (CSID) number
Type your Password =  mmddyyyy (birthdate with no hyphens, slashes, or spaces
)
For example:   1010101 (CSID number used at registration)  06231980 (password for birthdate June 23, 1980)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

1. Connect to the Internet, open the Internet Explorer

 

browser, and type in the SDCCD Online web site

 

address,  http://www.sdccdonline.net

2. To login to your course (WebCT account),  select

 

Login button in the top right corner of the screen.  The

 

login button will take you to the WebCT welcome page.

Select Create MyWebCT and create your account.

3. Click on Log in to myWebCT on the WebCT

 

welcome page.

 4. Enter your WebCT ID and Password.

Add Course

 

5. From your WebCT account screen, click on the

 

Add Course button to view the course listings.

6. Select the radio button next to View by category.

Select On Campus from the drop down list. Hit Update.

7. Locate the course you are officially registered for and

click on the course title.

Note: All courses are listed by course number, course title,

 instructor first initial and last name, and CRN. Make sure you

 enter the correct course or you may be dropped for non-attendence.

 Register Button

 8. Click on the REGISTER button.

The Register button will NOT be available until the first day of the semester.

The following information is VERY IMPORTANT. Please read carefully:

You do NOT need a username and password supplied by the school.

 Hit the Register button.

9. If you added the course correctly, you will receive a

 

successful notification screen giving you the opportunity

 

 to Add another course, Go to your course, or to

 

 Return to your myWebCT screen.
