WEBD 153 - Beginning Web Databases

Welcome to Beginning Web Databases. This is an introductory course of basic PHP and MySQL and is designed for students who are studying web design and professionals updating their skills.

You will need to have a good understanding of HTML and CSS for this course. Since this is a hybrid course, it requires you to access Blackboard. You will need to login in to the course every week.

On-campus section

    1. Thursdays 9-11:30 a.m. in K103 - hybrid (one meeting a week on campus, remainder online)

Online section

You will be able to access your course at 8 a.m. on August 19.

Log-in to your course

    1. Go to http://blackboard.sdccd.edu/ to log in.
    2. Your login is your student ID number.
    3. Your password is your birthdate in this format: MMDDYYYY (Jan. 3, 1980 = 01031980)
