69. What is the difference between isotonic, hypotonic and hypertonic?
Isotonic - both sides of the membrane are equal in solute.
Hypotonic the side which is lower in solute
Hypertonic the side which is higher in solute.
Remember that a solution contains solvent (water) and solute (salt or sugar).
