52. Name the conditions of the Hardy - Weinberg Law

Random Mating - no one animal has an advantage over another in breeding.

No mutations - one gene does not spontaneously mutate to another gene.

No genetic drift - in small isolated populations, it is possible, by chance alone, for a gene (trait) to become dominant. Usually occurs on Islands.

No migration - certain individual do not move away from the population and then move back. This would change the genetic makeup of the population.
