6. If two traits are linked, what does this mean?
Note that the two sets of genes or traits are located on the same chromosome. These genes are not free to recombine, but are stuck together. This results in fewer combinations, for example "R" cannot have "t" on the same chromosome. (Unless crossing over occurs).
