63. If a codon in mRNA contained 36 codes, and remebering that each strand has a "stop" and a "start" code, how many amino acids in a chain would it code for?

Remember that each three letter code (AUG, CUA, etc) will code for one amino acid. Each strand has a "start" code (three letters) and a "stop" code (three letters). Substracting one triplet code for start and one triplet code for stop, that leaves 30 codes. Each code set of three letters will code for on amino acid. Devide thirty by three and you get ten amino acids.
