23. What is the difference between substrate and oxidative Phosphorylation?

Substrate phosphorylation involves the addition of ATP in the form of a single phosphate to the fuel and then this phosphate is removed and turned back into ATP.

Oxidative phosphorylation involves the release of electrons and protons from the fuel and then these are run through the transport systems to generate multiple ATP's.
