23. In respiration, what is the difference between substrate and oxidative Phosphorylation?

Substrate phosphorylation involves the addition of ATP in the form of a single phosphate to the fuel and then this phosphate is removed and turned back into a single ATP.

Oxidative phosphorylation involves the release of electrons and protons from the fuel and then these are run through the transport systems to generate multiple ATP's.
