Text book

Both the lecture and laboratory books are available from multiple sources in San Diego, online and of course, the Mesa College bookstore. The lecture text is a large and expensive book.

The laboratory manual is only available through the Mesa College Bookstore.

Text: Haefnagels- Biology The Essentials This is an older version of the text. It is still valid. I would suggest that you rent the book, rather than purchasing it. Amazon rents it for a semester for $13.26

• Mesa Staff - Exploring Biology General Biology Laboratory Manual. This needs to be a new unused copy, this is because it is made to be written on and some cases the lab pages torn out and turned in. Only available from the bookstore. This is needed for the first laboratory class meeting.
